Gather your friends and join us for the riding event and festivities that take place July 21.
We’re working on getting the details together for the 2019 ride. Stay tuned!

What happens with the funds raised? Canadian Women’s Ride Day is a non-profit society, and we donate all proceeds from our events to local non-profits and charities that assist women in difficult circumstances. To-date, Canadian Women’s Ride Day has donated over $10,000 to community based groups. If you know of a local organization that could benefit from our fundraising, please contact us here.
Are there other kinds of events happening? We often have other events in the months leading up to Ride Day. Keep checking our Events page for information on what is coming up. Sometimes we will host a ride, or participate with a sponsor who is hosting an event on CWRD’s behalf. Keep checking back as it gets closest to Ride Day!
Can I get a tax receipt? Canadian Women’s Ride Day is a non-profit society, but we are not a registered charity. This means that we cannot issue tax receipts. We made the decision not to register as a charity because it allowed us to retain more flexibility about where we donate the funds we raise. Registered charities must only donate funds to other registered charities, and Canadian Women’s Ride Day prefers to maintain a wider range of charities, societies, foundations, and associations that we can support through the work we do.
